Herc Automatic Bauhaus Design Watch

Herc was a microbrand watch company that ceased operations in 2012. Selling a range of homage watches in both quartz and automatic.

One notable creation from Herc was the Automatic Bauhaus Design Watch, drawing inspiration from the iconic Nomos Tangente range. The watch exhibits a distinctive character, with a nod to Nomos’s design philosophy while incorporating unique elements that set it apart. Notably, the rounded lugs diverge from the angular ones found in their German counterpart, providing a distinct visual appeal.

The crown of the Herc Automatic Bauhaus Design Watch features a sapphire-coloured gem, creating an elegant contrast with the blued hands. With a larger 38mm case size, the timepiece stands out, offering a blend of homage and individuality. The polished case, accompanied by a thin bezel and a larger diameter dial, contributes to a sense of sophistication and enhances the overall wrist presence of the watch.
